About the role

As the Procurement Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting the City's procurement, contract administration and stores operations. Working within the Financial Services and Logistics Group, you'll partner with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the Contracts & Procurement team to deliver efficient procurement outcomes, accurate records and reporting, and ensure contract and inventory information is effectively maintained in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

You'll also provide support across the City's procurement systems, purchasing and tendering activities, supplier engagement and contract administration processes. Through your proactive approach and attention to detail, you'll help drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the effective delivery of procurement and stores services across the City.

This is a diverse and hands-on opportunity for a procurement, stores, logistics or supply chain professional who enjoys combining administrative expertise, system support and stakeholder engagement to deliver practical business outcomes.

About you

You have experience in procurement, stores, logistics, inventory management or supply chain operations and enjoy working in a role that combines stakeholder engagement with practical operational support. You bring strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering quality customer service. A Certificate III in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) and a current Class C Driver Licence are essential.
