About the role
The City is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Planner/Urban Designer (E-Planning) to contribute to the delivery of strategic planning initiatives and e-Planning services. Working as part of the Local Planning team, you'll assist with the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies, support community engagement activities, and help maintain accurate planning data and spatial mapping within the NSW Planning Portal. Guided by the Team Leader Planning and Urban Design, you'll play an important role in delivering responsive, customer-focused planning services that help shape the future of the Coffs Coast.

About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have a relevant degree and practical experience in urban planning, urban design or a related discipline, along with a current Class C Driver's Licence. You'll bring sound knowledge of NSW planning legislation, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while working collaboratively within a team environment. Experience with e-Planning systems, strategic planning projects and planning policy development will be highly regarded.

- Competitive Salary from $81,831.85 to 86,138.79 p/a depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
- Full-Time 2 year fixed-term contract 35 hours per week
