About the role
As a Leading Hand Water, you will play a key role in the operation, maintenance, repair and construction of water infrastructure across the City. Working closely with Supervisors and operational teams, you'll lead by example on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required technical and environmental standards. You will also support service delivery through effective coordination of resources, cost monitoring, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.

About you
You are an experienced water industry professional with strong technical capability and a practical leadership style. You bring well-developed safety awareness, the ability to supervise works on site, and a commitment to quality customer service. Your background in water mains operations, combined with relevant qualifications and licences, enables you to confidently support teams, contractors and the wider community.
What's on offer?
- Competitive salary (from $64.000) depending on your capabilities and experience + allowances + 12% superannuation + take home vehicle
- Permanent full time - 38 hours per week
- Flex time, flexible work arrangements and generous leave entitlements +9 day fortnight RDO
- On-call allowances in line with the Award and Enterprise Agreement!
