About the role
The City is seeking two Property Officers to join the Property Services team within the Commercial Business Group. These part-time opportunities offer flexibility, variety and the chance to work across the City's diverse property portfolio.
In this role, you will support the management of leases, licences and agreements for City-owned and controlled properties. You'll provide property-related advice to internal stakeholders, assist with general property matters and contribute to the effective management of the City's commercial property assets.
You will also assist with debtor and creditor management relating to property assets and support Expressions of Interest and other public-facing property processes. Working collaboratively, you'll help ensure the City's property activities are well managed, compliant and customer focused.
About you
You are an experienced property professional who enjoys working in a busy, team-oriented environment. You bring strong attention to detail, a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
- Qualifications in Property Services, Property Valuation or a related discipline
- Experience and knowledge of commercial leasing and property matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A commitment to delivering professional, customer-focused outcomes
- A current Drivers Licence
Local government experience is desirable but not essential.

- 0.8 FTE - 28 hours per week
- 0.6 FTE - 21 hours per week
- Competitive Salary (from $84,502 p.a pro-rata) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
