Senior Greenkeeper

About the role
The Senior Greenkeeper delivers high‑quality turf and grounds maintenance across all City‑managed sports facilities, including CEX International Stadium, Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park and Wiigulga Sports Complex.
The role applies advanced greenkeeping skills through inspections, reporting and planning maintenance programs. Key duties include maintaining sports field surfaces, monitoring turf health, repairing damage, and performing routine plant servicing. The position works closely with the Team Leader Greenkeeping Services and contributes to the Stadium and Major Events Teams.
This role will see the successful candidate use their previous knowledge and experience to apply the highest level of greenkeeping principles, including inspections, reporting, and plan and manage maintenance works pipeline.

About you
You will be a highly skilled greenkeeping professional with AQF Level 4 trade certification and advanced turf wicket expertise. Experienced in maintaining high-use sports facilities and delivering competition-standard surfaces across multiple codes. Proficient in contemporary horticultural practices, chemical application, and modern turf equipment. Strong communicator with a collaborative, safety-focused approach and proven stakeholder engagement. Committed to professional development and consistently high standards of presentation and service.
