Are you a motivated and skilled civil engineer ready to lead high-impact infrastructure projects? The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to manage the delivery of capital and commercial civil works from planning through to completion.
In this hands-on role, you'll oversee construction projects that make a tangible difference in our community—ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality and environmental standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the full project lifecycle for civil infrastructure works—planning, tendering, budgeting, delivery and close-out
- Coordinating contracts and engaging with contractors, suppliers, regulators and the community
- Managing budgets and financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
- Supporting business development through commercial opportunities and external projects
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Engineering
- Experience in civil infrastructure construction and/or contracting
- Strong project management, contract administration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and solve complex problems
What's on offer?
- Starting salary of around $110K + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 12% superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
- Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements
