The Coffs Harbour Bypass is more than a major infrastructure project. It represents a transformational moment for our region, creating exciting opportunities to enhance our economy, revitalise key precincts and strengthen community outcomes.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Strategic Place Coordinator - Bypass Transition will lead the City's strategic response to this generational change. Working across all levels of government, industry, business, community organisations and City teams, you'll bring together diverse stakeholders, projects and opportunities to maximise the long-term benefits of the bypass for our community.

About You
We're looking for someone who can bring people together, build strong relationships and influence outcomes in a complex and evolving environment. You'll combine exceptional emotional intelligence with strong project management and organisational skills, enabling you to coordinate multiple initiatives, navigate competing priorities and maintain momentum towards shared goals.
You'll be comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government representatives, business leaders, community groups, industry partners and technical specialists. You'll be someone who thrives on collaboration, can work autonomously with minimal direction, and uses data, insight and sound judgement to inform decision-making. Most importantly, you'll have the ability to build trust, bring people together and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes that create lasting benefits for our community.
What's on offer?
- Competitive salary from $124K - $137K, depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
