About the role
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in delivering the maintenance and repair of Council's Heavy Patching program of works. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you'll supervise a small team, plan and coordinate daily works, ensure WHS compliance, and monitor cost, quality and performance outcomes.
This is a full-time fixed term opportunity through to January 2027, ideal for an experienced supervisor who thrives in an operational, hands-on environment.
About you
- You're a practical leader with strong experience in civil construction, maintenance or infrastructure environments and are comfortable supervising crews.
- You bring sound technical knowledge of road and drainage maintenance, can confidently interpret plans and drawings, and understand how to balance safety, quality, time and cost.
- You're respected for your communication style, ability to motivate teams, and commitment to WHS and customer service.
- Comfortable using mobile technology and maintenance management systems.
- You hold a Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) or have substantial experience in road drainage and maintenance, along with a current MR licence and a White Card.
