Ranger

About the role

This role helps keep our community safe, clean, and welcoming by managing compliance across public and private spaces. From parking patrols and animal management to investigating complaints and supporting legal processes, you'll be out and about making a real difference. You'll work closely with the public, respond to incidents, and help uphold local laws with professionalism and care. This role suits someone who's confident, calm under pressure, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in helping people and protecting public spaces.

About you

This role requires a Certificate IV or Diploma in Local Government (Regulatory Services), a manual driver's licence, and demonstrated experience in compliance enforcement and animal handling. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, excellent communication skills, and confidence using digital systems are essential. A practical, team-oriented approach and the ability to work calmly in challenging situations will enable you to succeed.
