About the role
As a Leading Hand Landfill at the City of Coffs Harbour, you'll play an important role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of England's Road Waste Management Facility.
As a Leading Hand, you will:
- Supervise and support a dedicated team in delivering essential waste services.
- Ensure efficient use of plant, materials, and resources.
- Contribute to environmental sustainability through our Environmental Management System.
- Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

About you?
- Certificate lll in Civil Construction, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum two (2) years previous experience on at least one of the following machines:
- Waste Compactor, Track loader, Excavator, Front-end loader
- National Construction & Induction Certification (‘Whitecard')
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Current Class HR NSW Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence (Class LF) or obtain within an agreed timeframe
- Available to work a 7 day a week rotating roster

- $67,731.15 + 12% Superannuation + Applicable Allowances
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
- Options for RDO's and flexible working arrangements.
