About the Role

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce by playing a pivotal role in facilitating a skilled and high-performing workforce. You will be responsible for the development and coordination of a wide range of learning and development initiatives that align with our organisational objectives.

This includes onboarding, talent development, Trainee, Apprentice & Work Experience programs, performance improvement, and leadership development. You will provide expert advice to People Leaders, manage training providers, coordinate various programs, and ensure all learning activities are within budget. Additionally, you will develop and oversee the annual Training Plan, administratively manage the online learning platform, and collaborate on projects to drive continuous improvement and organisational growth.

About You

We're looking for a passionate learning and development professional with:

  • Tertiary qualification (Cert IV or above) in HR, Business, or Training/Education
  • Experience in aligning organisational needs with the implementation of learning & development needs and initiatives within an adult learning environment
  • Proficiency in HR & Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to analyse training needs and measure impact
