​About the role

The Holiday Parks team, who cater to the Coffs Coast vibrant tourism market, are seeking a Groundsperson to provide a key community service across all four Holiday Parks: BIG4 Park Beach, BIG4 Sawtell Beach, Woolgoolga Beach and Woolgoolga Lakeside Holiday Park.

Key responsibilities of the Groundsperson role include gardening and landscape upkeep; assisting with minor repairs; operating and maintaining plant; cleaning of amenities, cabins and facilities as required; collecting and disposing of garbage, and openly communicating with various stakeholders regarding scheduled works. As a Groundsperson, you will be passionate about delivering a high-quality accommodation service and experience to park visitors.

The successful candidate will be open to working across a 7-day roster, including some weekends and public holidays, to support the operational requirements of the role. Does this opportunity excite and inspire you? Apply today!

Do you have these key attributes?

• Awareness and experience of the upkeep of gardens and lawns.
• Experience in minor repairs and safely operating maintenance equipment and tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.
• Demonstrated customer service and organisation skills.
• Skills to manage and prioritise tasks.

Essentials Qualifications and Experience

• National Construction Induction Certificate (Whitecard)
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Experience in the upkeep of gardens and lawns

Desirable

• Relevant experience in grounds maintenance and cleaning/maintenance of buildings.
• Level 1 Chainsaw Ticket (Operate and Maintain Chainsaws)
• Spray Ticket (Control Weeds or other suitable ChemCert qualification)
• Working Safely at Heights
• Level 1 Traffic Controller Ticket (Traffic Control Work Training
• Trade Certificate e.g. plumbing, electrical work, carpentry etc (Cert III)
