Are you ready to take the lead in designing smarter, safer, and more sustainable infrastructure for the City of Coffs Harbour? We're looking for a Lead Engineering Designer to join our Survey and Design Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our city.
As a key technical leader, you will:
- Streamline design processes through the customisation and automation of the design and drafting software (12d Model, BricsCAD/AutoCAD) to improve efficiency and quality.
- Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs for roads, stormwater, water/sewer mains, and public spaces.
- Champion design excellence by mentoring junior staff.
- Collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders to bring projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Safety in Design principles, and other relevant guidelines and specifications.
What you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in civil engineering infrastructure design.
- Experience in customising, enhancing and using the advanced features of 12d Model and BricsCAD/AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and continuous improvement.
