WHS Project Officer
Temporary Contract to 30 June 2021
About the Role
Coffs Harbour City Council has a strong focus on continuous improvement, led by our people with fresh ideas across the organisation. In line with this, we are currently reviewing our corporate Safety Management System. The WHS Project Officer will be support the project by having responsibility for developing and implementing procedural documentation. This is a fixed term position, initially to 30 June 2021,

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation, including WHS Regulations, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload with strong attention to detail.
Solid experience in developing system documents, as well as experience in contemporary Work Health and Safety practices, along with very strong computer literacy is essential.

Starting salary of $76k + superannuation. All other conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Coffs Harbour City Council Enterprise Agreement 2017 and the NSW Local Government (State) Award 2020.
